Experience
Dr. Roberta Steinberg is a licensed Child Psychologist, certified School Psychologist and licensed Physical Therapist. She received her Physical Therapy certification from Hunter College and her PsyD in Clinical - School Child Psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University.
Dr. Steinberg's clinical experience includes outpatient early childhood mental health, as well as specialized school settings for children with emotional challenges and neuro-developmental disorders. Dr. Steinberg has extensive training in individual counseling, play therapy, and developmental-relationship based interventions, including the DIR© approach.
Dr. Steinbergʼs combined training as a Clinical Psychologist and Physical Therapist makes her uniquely skilled at assessing and treating children with a wide array of emotional, social, and developmental challenges. Dr. Steinberg is dedicated to providing every child and family with the highest quality of psychological services in a professional, confident, and compassionate environment.
